Really quick sketch of girl at Starbucks.

That's not Jim Morrison

No it's not. But it was inspired by listening to the latest Doors compilation, available exclusively at Starbucks. Or Limewire. Why is he so mad? I guess the coffee isn't the only thing thats bitter. Hah!

Old Dude

Seems to be a theme here. Old. The theme is old. Pay attention.

Cartoon Old Age Home Part 5

I should have added something to the right side of this image to balance it out. But now that you know that, go ahead and just draw it in yourself. Be sure to use a dry-erase marker so you can clean off your monitor when you're done.

Coffee Folks

I learned two things today. (1) Draw everyday and (2) if you stay at Starbucks til closing you get free coffee.

With sketches like these...

who needs enemies. Just another reminder of the need to draw daily. Went to the NYC Comicon this weekend and I'll tell you what, you see what a dude like Steven Silver is doing (go ahead, Google 'im) and you get a pretty decent picture of what good looks like. So with a little elbow grease and a pencil sharpener, this will hopefully be the first and worst of a whole lotta lumps. Constantly improving lumps.

Editor's note: Any similarities between this sketch and the previous post are completely coincidental. Quickie sketch of dude ordering coffee at Starbucks.

The Missing Professor

This would have been the basis for the professor in the Rube drawing but he was scrapped. So was the millionaire and his wife, the moviestar, and all the rest.

Jazz vs. The Space Tiger

Now you know what a Space Tiger looks like. And a Jazz. A thousand thank youse to my bro's tenacious musical inspirado! Jazz on my brother!
Jazz on!

Cartoon Old Age Home Part 4

How does he pick who gets old next? That's what you're asking yourself right now. Well, let me tell you, he doesn't know. He being me. Except that last one. That was a friend's idea. And this one. I walked past something that made me think of this. Funny, though, that it had nothing at all to do with this. I should pay more attention to things. Mickey Rooney.

Cartoon Old Age Home Part 3

These are from memory so if they don't look like anybody, talk to my memory. I'm sure it will remember to get back to you. Hah! Funny.

Cookie Fortune

Sure, I could have made this up but I didn't. This is an honest to you know who fortune cookie!

Beautiful.

Cartoon Old Age Home Part 2

Why does this remind me of Mickey Rooney? Does anybody even remember Mickey Rooney? Well I do, so in your face Mickey Rooney. The opinions expressed here do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Mickey Rooney or anyone associated with Mickey Rooney. Offer not valid in New Mexico, Rhode Island, and Mickey Rooney.

Rube 'Nuff

So, this is the third final drawing I've re-posted up here. Let's call this one the final final.

Editors note: This is now the fourth final version. So we'll call this the final final final. Finally.

Rube Rough

A quick rough sketch for a Rube Goldbergy biotech illustration. Hard to tell what's going on here but it cleans up in the final. Hence rough sketch, eh? The finished version ended up a bit different, the dimensions needed to change and the Professor was scrapped. The finished version will be up soon.
